We spent Reece's 8
th birthday at the
aau state wrestling tournament in
Brookings. He said it was the best birthday ever. On his actual birthday March 27
th, he was busy on the mat WINNING. Reece wrestled awesome, making it into the championship match. When wrestling was finished for the day everyone from the Philip team went back to the motel for a party. Reece's birthday party with cake along with a pizza party. All the kids took over the motel and had lots of fun. Reece felt pretty special for the day. The next morning all the excitement had worn off for Reece and the nerves took over again. He wrestled very hard with all of us on our toes, placing 2
nd in over time. Best season finish yet!
